THANJAVUR FESTIVAL (24th jan to 26th jan 2015)
 thanjavur festival was held for 3 days at maratha palace complex. their were thousands of Tanjoreans gathered for the festival at the palace campus. many artists performed their talents and also various competitions were organised for childrens and winners were honored with prizes. the palace was decorated with colourfull lights at night and many stalls of traditional thanjavur culture and food were also installed. this was the first festival ever done in the history of thanjavur town for 3 days which was organised in a short period of time and was made a grand success. kudos to the organizers of this festival who may struggled and worked hard for making the festival cloud nine.
